Hi, I'm Midori.

I’m a data-driven product designer with a background in life science and science communication.

I'm a generalist—happiest when I get to touch every stage of the design process: from discovering unmet needs and defining the user experience, to evaluating results and iterating.

Currently at ODAIA, a B2B SaaS startup in the pharma space, I'm focused on building approachable, scalable solutions around complex data.

Before ODAIA, I spent over 5 years at a B2C SaaS startup, Venngage, where I owned the redesign of the core product.

Helping users create accessible designs

I designed an end-to-end experience for Venngage that enables users to create accessible designs. With accessible templates and a guided flow for remediating designs, users are no longer second-guessing whether their documents can be accessed by their whole audience.

I’m a product designer based in Toronto.

With a background in Biomedical Communications and a passion for data visualization, I aim to use the principles of visual communication to craft clean, clear, accessible designs.

Outside of work you can find me exploring the city by bike, reading, gaming, or making something (usually out of flour, wood, or clay).
